Euro Cup and Nepal

Nepal is South Asia's best Football playing Nation and we have a great interest in this beautiful game. We watch and take part in each level of game of football, in league match, World Cup, English Club Matches, European Club Matches, Latin American Club Matches and now, the time has come for Eurocuo i..e EURO Cup 2012 - European Football 2012 like European Worldcup Foorball. We have followed discussions in the World cup football in nepali online forums, among nepalese on streets, among Nepalese on Twitter etc.

Now, in Euro Cup 2012 also, we are actively taking interest in Nepal. Though the football in night as per Nepali Standard Time, we are waking up till late and watching EUROCUP 2012. The first game of Euro Cup 2012 starts at 9.45 PM Nepali time and second game starts at 12.30 AM after next game.


(But, from today, from 16th June, 2012, both the matches of the EURO CUP 2012 will start at 12.30AM in the night as per Nepali Time)

There are two matches on 16th June, 2012. The matches are match 17 and 18. The 17th match is between Czech 

Republic v Poland and Second match that is match 18th of EURO CUP 2012 is played between Greece v Russia. But, tomorrow, both the matches are played at the same time. That is EURO CUP 2012's both the matches on 16 June will be played at 

21.45 Hrs. Nepal time. That is EURO CUP 2012 matches will be played at 9.45 Pm in the evening.

We at Nepali Gajal think that it will be won by Poland as in EURO CUP 2012, Poland was able to draw a match with Russia and 

and they are playing their match at home crowd. 

The Second match that is played between Greece and Russia and Russia is a very strong team in EURO CUP 2012. It won a match against Czech Republic by scoring 4 goals but it had to draw a match with Poland.

Our feeling is that in Nepal, the lovers of  EURO CUP 2012 mostly follow and support Russian Team. They may not be interested in match between Poland and Czech Republic but Nepalese People have special place for Russia. So, we think that Nepali people in EURO CUP 2012 may support Russia. 

Nepalese like Russia may be because of communist relation like there are active communist politicians in Nepal and 

they all consider previous Russian communist leaders as their leaders. So, I think in EURO CUP 2012 also,

Nepali People in Nepal who watch EURO CUP 2012 also somehow will be attracted to Russian Team. 

For Nepalese people who are reeling under heat and loadsheding/power-cut in Nepal, EURO CUP 2012 will be a

Our feeling is that in Nepal, the lovers of  EURO CUP 2012 also likely mostly England Football Team. May be because, England, as a monrachy was famous for previously Monarch ruled Kingdom Nepal. Again, Nepalese are very close to UK because of Gorkha Soldiers. A Lot of Nepalese are working, residing, and studying in England than in Nordic Country like Sweden. By way of Language also, Nepalese feel close and connected to England than Sweden.So, We think that Nepalese will be supporting to English/UK/England Football Team in EURO CUP 2012. EURO CUP 2012 Update


Here is an update of EURO CUP 2012. In today's match between France and Ukraine, France won by two goals against Ukraine. Here is an update of EURO CUP 2012 - the second match. In today's match between England and Sweden, England won by three goals against Sweden. In EURO CUP 2012, in today's match, Sweden scored two goals against England though it lost the match. Sweden lost the match against Ukraine and now also against England and they are ousted from EURO CUP 2012. In fact Sweden also played a very good game but was on the losing side. The game was full of fouls and flowing yellow cards.
